With Explorer open and running, click on "Edit" in the menu bar at the top of the window. Select "Preferences" from the drop down window. (Figure 1.) The Explorer Preferences window will open.
With the Preferences window open, select "Java" under "Web Browser" in the left-hand menu. The java options will then appear in the right-hand side of the Preferences window. Simply check the "Enable Java" option. (Figure 2, below) Then Save/Apply/OK your changes and you're done!
