The City of Velva celebrated the 100th anniversary of its incorporation as a city on July 1-4, 2005, and it was a huge success! Everything was well attended and an estimated 2,000 people converged on the city. The Centennial Committee wishes to thank everyone who contributed, attended and supported this event.
